Reading the site
Biped needs no account to read. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Your theme choice is kept in your own browser. The server sees your IP address for each request; it is used in memory for rate limiting and is not stored.
Signing in
If you sign in, Biped stores your public wallet address, its $BIPED balance as last read from a public network node, the companies you follow, and a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. It never asks for, sees or stores a private key or secret phrase.
Notifications
In-tab alerts need nothing stored beyond your follows. If you turn on push alerts, your browser's push address is stored so alerts can reach you, and it is deleted when the push service reports it gone.
Removing your data
Sign out to remove the session cookie. Unfollow companies to remove your follows. To have your wallet address removed entirely, contact Biped on X.
